Most back-to-back splits land between $1,800 and $3,500 supplied and fitted, depending on the brand, the size and the cable run. We won't quote without seeing the room because the wall material, unit placement and run length matter more than people think.
02 Do you cover the Upper Mountains?
Yes. We install regularly in Katoomba, Blackheath, Leura, Wentworth Falls and Mount Victoria. We've sized heat pumps for altitude and routed bushfire-zone compliant cabling since the 80s.
03 What brands do you install?
Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Actron and Panasonic. We're brand-agnostic. We recommend based on your home, your budget and how you actually use the system, not what's earning the best margin that quarter.
04 What does the 7-year guarantee cover?
It covers our workmanship. The install, the cable runs, the commissioning, the fittings. The manufacturer's warranty on the unit itself sits alongside it and varies by brand.
05 How long does the install take?
A single split is half a day. A multi-head or ducted retrofit is one to three days, depending on access and how much patching is involved. The day count is on the written quote.
06 Do you do gas heating, or just aircon?
Both. Ducted gas, space heating, installs and service. Especially common in the Upper Mountains where electric heat pumps lose efficiency below five degrees.
